Eido Walny Named a “Notable Leader in Law” by BizTimes Milwaukee

Eido Walny, founder and managing partner of Walny Legal Group, was named to BizTimes’ Notable Leaders in Law Class of 2026. The recognition highlights Walny’s innovative approach to legal practice and his leadership in expanding legal services for young athletes and professionals.

In May 2025, Walny executed Wisconsin’s first high school name, image and likeness partnerships, signing All-American lacrosse standout Darcy Doyle shortly after the WIAA authorized NIL activity for high school athletes. Rather than pursuing traditional high-profile football or basketball athletes, Walny intentionally partnered with a female athlete to highlight leadership and education.

The campaign with Northwestern-committed Doyle promotes legal readiness for young adults, encouraging students turning 18 to establish essential documents such as health care directives, HIPAA authorizations and powers of attorney.

Also in 2025, Walny contributed to the book “Be That Lawyer: 101 Top Rainmakers’ Secrets to Growing a Successful Law Practice,” sharing his approach to leadership and business development. He also discussed relationship-driven client development and law firm strategy on the “Be That Lawyer” podcast, emphasizing the importance of cultivating professional networks and long-term visibility.

Walny has contributed to broader media and professional forums, including commentary in CNBC, the National Law Review, Huffington Post and the AARP newsletter.
