Rollie R. Hanson grew up on a Dairy Farm along the Fox River in Columbia County near Portage, Wisconsin. After high school, Rollie enlisted in the United States Marine Corp and served two years active duty. Rollie received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Political Science from the University of Minnesota and his law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School. In addition to his classes and clinical experiences he enjoyed serving as the Senior Managing Editor of the UW Madison International Law Journal and his participation on the Jessup International Moot Court Competition.
Rollie’s primary interest and goal as an attorney is to help people in every area of his practice.
Rollie brings a lifetime of experience helping people including their Estate Planning needs, drafting Wills, Trusts, Medical and Financial Powers of Attorney, Healthcare Directives and other documents such as Marital Property Agreements. He also practices in Elder Law with an emphasis on Asset Preservation, Medicaid eligibility, Special Needs Trusts and Guardianships. Rollie is experienced in all Title 19 laws and issues. Rollie Listens to his clients to hear their concerns and identify their goals. He is also experienced in Estate and Trust Administration and Probate Court representing Personal Representatives and other interested parties.
Rollie also has experience in Consumer Law, assisting people victimized by Mortgage and Auto Fraud and other illegal consumer or collection activities.
Rollie is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Milwaukee Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and the National Association of Consumer Advocates. Rollie is also a member of the Elder Law and the Bankruptcy Insolvency Creditor Sections of the State Bar of Wisconsin. He is admitted to practice law in State of Wisconsin and the U.S. District Court in the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin.
